A 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal today, May, 12. It was the most powerful aftershock since the April 25 earthquake measuring 7.8 destabilized tectonic plates in the country.
TPRF’s Food for People facility in Tasarpu remains unharmed and continues to serve as a refuge, providing shelter, food, water, and supplies to villagers in need. Today’s quake has caused another upsurge in people coming to the facility for help. Initial reports indicate that no volunteers with TPRF and partner organization, Premsagar Foundation Nepal, were hurt.
