The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) has received over one million views worldwide for its “Peace Starts Here” video, which debuted September 14, produced as part of its participation in the 2016 United Nations International Day of Peace.

In partnering with the United Nations on this annual event, TPRF joined millions of citizens and numerous NGOs around the world in this observation of a day that provides an opportunity for all humanity to come together, in spirit and in action, to forward the ideals of and conditions for peace. Produced by TPRF, the minute-long “Peace Starts Here” video features narration based on the words of its founder, Prem Rawat, that emphasize that world peace begins with individual peace. Against the backdrop of a world wracked by increasing strife and violence, the suggestion that each person can cultivate peace within is proving to be a potent message.

TPRF asked supporters, volunteers, and partners to help share the video, and with their help, the video’s empowering message has been embraced around the world. The over one million views for “Peace Starts Here,” added to the more than 3 million views garnered by the 2015 TPRF Peace Day video, “Your Secret Weapon,” testify to the power of video and social media promotions to convey the aspiration that peace is possible.

TPRF will continue the sharing tribute through the end of the year, raising those numbers even higher. TPRF would like to thank everyone who is participating in this effort to grow awareness that people have the power to make every day a peace day.
