Contributors showed enormous support for The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) during the “Power of Peace Appeal,” raising US $185,185 to help ensure that initiatives like the Peace Education Program and Food for People reach even more people in 2018 and beyond.
“Many thanks to each of the generous donors and volunteers who made this appeal such a success,” says TPRF Board President Daya Rawat. “People the world over will benefit from your kindness in powerful ways.”
The appeal took place throughout December and featured four new videos that highlight how contributions to TPRF make a remarkable difference in people’s lives. Nearly 900 donors participated in the effort, including several especially generous backers who provided $57,000 in matching funds.

Thanks to its remarkable grassroots supporters, TPRF was able to make a world of difference for more people than ever before in 2017. This video highlights a few of the year’s top developments.

In 2017 TPRF expanded the Food for People program in Nepal to provide nutritious daily meals to an additional 750 children at the remote Bageshwari Secondary School. The Nepal food kitchen is now operating at full capacity, feeding approximately 2,000 children each day.

The Peace Education Program (PEP) is helping people in Colombia heal after suffering from more than 5 decades of civil war.

On July 28, 2017, Prem Rawat met with teachers, government officials, and war victims who are participating in the Peace Education Program in Medellín, Colombia.
