The Prem Rawat Foundation’s strong program results and commitment to financial accountability have earned the charity top ratings from the most distinguished independent evaluators.
TPRF recently received the 2018 Platinum GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. To achieve the Platinum Seal, TPRF provided in-depth information about its finances as well as how its humanitarian programs are helping disadvantaged people across the globe live with dignity, peace and prosperity.
The seal comes in addition to a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, another major independent charity assessment organization. Using objective analysis, only the most fiscally responsible and trustworthy organizations are awarded this top ranking.
“I’m thrilled that these organizations are recognizing The Prem Rawat Foundation for our excellent financial stewardship and strong humanitarian efforts,” says TPRF Board Chair Linda Pascotto. “When people donate to TPRF, they are supporting a charity that they can trust to make the best use of their donations.”
With the help of supporters in more than 80 countries, TPRF takes innovative initiatives which empower people to overcome their most intense challenges, from hunger and poverty to gang violence, drug addiction and more.
The Foundation’s signature Peace Education Program grew by nearly 50 percent in 2018, making a profound impact on thousands of lives by helping people discover their inner strengths and choose better paths in life. The model Food for People program also experienced remarkable growth, serving nearly 480,000 nutritious meals to malnourished children and ailing adults in India, Nepal and Ghana.
