Peace Education Program for Veterans

A growing number of veterans say the Peace Education Program is a helpful tool to harness their own inner-strength and overcome their obstacles. The innovative series of facilitated video-based workshops helps participants discover their inner resources for personal growth and well-being.

The workshops focus on 10 themes: Peace, Appreciation, Inner strength, Self-awareness, Clarity, Understanding, Dignity, Choice, Hope and Contentment.

Each session features empowering course content derived from the insightful presentations of reknowned author and peace educator, Prem Rawat.

The program is applicable cross-culturally, having been implemented in more than 80 countries and 45 languages. 675,000 people have taken the program across the world, reporting a wide range of benefits.

The Prem Rawat Foundation makes the Peace Education Program available to individuals and organizations free of charge.

If you are a veteran or the spouse of a veteran you are welcome to register for an upcoming virtual course using the below form. The program will be conducted in English.

“I have really enjoyed these sessions! Sometimes you feel alone in your thoughts and it helps when others express their thoughts and feelings in much the way you feel. It has helped me hearing from other veterans!”
– Tana Suddreth, Asheville, NC

“The Peace Education Program promotes self-knowledge and encourages the readiness to recall and rely upon what we discover about being at peace while we seek to make peace in the world. After twenty-three years in the military, and all the experience that comes with it, I’ve come to realize that the peace I desire for our world is already within me. This realization has significantly improved my thinking, outlook, and behavior.”
– Gerry Werhan, President, Veterans for Peace, Chapter 099, Asheville, NC
