Peace Education Program Featured at Prominent Conferences, Including Asia’s Largest Educational Exhibition

The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) proudly presented the Peace Education Program at 10 international conferences in nine different countries over the last year. The foundation received repeat invitations to esteemed gatherings such as the American Probation and Parole Association’s training institutes in the United States and the 6th World Congress at The Hague, Netherlands. Additionally, TPRF delegates presented the program in Switzerland, Kenya and Australia. While the majority of these conferences focused on corrections, Peace Education Program representatives also participated in India’s largest educational conference in September.

Most recently, on February 21–22, volunteers introduced the program to university students at the International Conference on Renewable Energy, Green Computing, and Sustainable Development at the CVR College of Engineering in Hyderabad, India.

Presentations at such conferences have proven to play a pivotal role in introducing the program to industry professionals, leading to partnerships that have helped the program top 500,000 participants in 80 countries.

DIDAC India 2024, Asia’s premier educational conference, was held from September 16–18 in New Delhi. It is the largest event in Asia for educational resources, technology-based products and solutions across all levels of the education and skills sector. Visitors and workshop attendees represented over 65 cities across India and six countries internationally. The Peace Education Program made a significant impact, as representatives hosted an exhibition booth and presented an interactive workshop that resonated with educators, students and thought leaders alike.

TPRF representatives included Dr. Avinasha Sharma, Dr. Suresh Gupta, Dr. Mitesh Desai, Poonam Sherawat, Rajnish Kumar, Tanuja Vashishth and Archana Nagpal, who connected with numerous educational leaders and institutions during the event. Follow-up with interested participants is ongoing through personalized outreach, ensuring the program continues to inspire and expand its reach.

One of the event’s highlights was a workshop titled “A Resource for Student Well-Being: Peace Education Program.” Attended by around 70 participants, the session featured dynamic speakers and video testimonials from professors and students who have experienced the transformative impact of the program. The interactive format allowed attendees to delve into how the Peace Education Program fosters emotional intelligence and self-awareness in educational settings.

At the DIDAC exhibition booth, over 240 conference attendees expressed interest in the Peace Education Program. Amidst exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge educational technology and commercial solutions, The Prem Rawat Foundation’s focus on well-being and personal development stood out. Visitors were impressed by the organization’s dedication to supporting holistic growth within the educational ecosystem.

“The most amazing experience was when visitors were told that the program is free and all support is provided by volunteers. This evoked even more positive response and appreciation from the visitors,” says Dr. Gupta.

The Peace Education Program’s participation in DIDAC India and other key conferences throughout the last year reflects its growing impact across multiple sectors. With ongoing outreach and the formation of new partnerships, the program is set to inspire even more communities in the year ahead.
