“I’d been trying to fill this hole within me for so many years, and now I’m filling it with something positive, something wonderful. I was clinging to this Peace Education Program as if my life depended on it. I remember coming out of prison. I didn’t even know where I was sleeping that night, but I had the most important thing. I had myself on point, and that was worth more than anything else.” – Billa Nanra
