Contributors showed strong grassroots support for The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) during the December “Choosing Peace” appeal, exceeding the goal of $150,000 and donating $192,839 for initiatives that will help people across the globe live with dignity, peace, and prosperity.
The generous donations will help ensure that malnourished participants in the Food for People program receive fresh water and nutritious meals, that victims of natural disasters get crucial aid, and that those seeking a sense of inner contentment have access to the transformative Peace Education Program.
“My deep appreciation goes out to all of you who supported TPRF at the close of 2019, putting us in a strong position in the new year to help people have the resources they need to choose peace in their lives,” says Daya Rawat, TPRF Board President.
During the appeal, TPRF released four new videos that show how contributions to the charity benefit diverse groups of people, from hungry children in Africa, to traumatized ex-combatants and war victims in South Asia, to struggling school students in the Americas, and more. You can watch all of the videos below.
“I hope these glimpses into the lives that are touched by your efforts bring a gift back to you, to your heart,” says Daya. “I enjoy partnering with you in helping to build a world of people who choose peace.”
TPRF’s success is built on vigorous support from volunteers and donors in over 50 countries. Both Guidestar and Charity Navigator, the world’s top independent evaluators of nonprofits, give TPRF their highest grades for outstanding transparency, fiscal responsibility, and humanitarian results.
