Chef José Andrés Video: Thanks for Supporting Bahamians

To help people hit by Hurricane Dorian last August, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) contributed $100,000 for crucial food, water, and medical care.

Of this total, a grant of $30,000 was given to the World Central Kitchen, a partner charity which has been able to provide 3 million nutritious meals to people in need. Celebrity Chef José Andrés founded the NGO and he recently recorded this short video to thank those of you who contributed to this great humanitarian effort.

Since Prem Rawat founded TPRF in 2001, the charity has awarded hundreds of grants to partner organizations in 40 countries to fund a wide variety of humanitarian initiatives, from disaster relief and water infrastructure to IT labs for students. TPRF also offers the signature Food for People program to provide clean water and nutritious daily meals to malnourished children in India, Ghana, and Nepal.

All of TPRF’s efforts are funded by grassroots support from people like you across the world. Thank you.
