Appeal Results: Thank You for Making a World of Difference

During the June “World of Difference” Appeal, 1,154 donors from 48 countries topped the goal of raising $150,000 and contributed a total of $179,399 to The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF).

“Thank you,” says TPRF Board President Daya Rawat. “The tremendous outpouring of generosity puts TPRF in a strong position to continue making a world of difference for people across the globe.”

Throughout the appeal, TPRF released four new videos that highlight the impact contributors make by supporting TPRF programs and initiatives. Watch them all below:

More than 40,000 veterans are homeless on any given night in America, and Alyce Knaflich was one of them for nearly 10 years as she suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Peace Education Program helped her recover and inspired her to dedicate her life to assisting homeless women veterans through a charity she founded in Asheville, NC.

A new TPRF initiative to provide computer labs and training to students in the remote mountains of Nepal is opening up a wider world of educational and career opportunities.

The Food for People program is boosting economies in remote areas of Nepal by providing nutritious daily meals and sustainable agricultural trainings to thousands of marginalized people.

The Peace Education Program is reducing violence and changing the lives of inmates at Wolston Correctional Centre in Queensland, Australia. TPRF sponsored a recent event there that allowed them to follow up on the program’s themes with Prem Rawat, and he talked about some of the things that are helpful to know in order to live a more fulfilling life.
