Humanitarian Aid Program
|
Our Mission The Prem Rawat Foundation addresses the fundamental human needs of food, water and peace so that people can live with dignity, peace and prosperity. |
Created in 2001 by Prem Rawat, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) works to extend the outreach of Prem Rawat’s message of peace and to provide essential humanitarian aid for food, water, and eye care for people most in need.
The primary focus of TPRF’s humanitarian aid program is its model food program, Food for People, now operating in India (since 2006), Nepal (since 2009), and Ghana (since 2012). In addition, the Foundation helps to sponsor yearly eye clinics in India for people who have no access to eye care and has frequently provided aid to help with the urgent needs of people affected by natural disasters.
Over the years TPRF has partnered with charitable organizations that have shown their ability to deliver the aid directly, efficiently, and effectively with respect for the dignity of recipients and their culture. In the eleven years since its inception, TPRF has made 158 grants to help people in 40 countries.
