The Story of Life," a book of excerpts from Prem Rawat's addresses, released at New Delhi Book Fair

Los Angeles, March 23,2007 — "Jindagi ki Kahani" ("The Story of Life") was released in Hindi at the New Delhi Book Fair by Dr. Lakshmi Mall Singhvi, the ex-high commissioner of India to England. The New Delhi Book Fair is the largest book event in the Afro-Asian region.

"The Story of Life" is a collection of discourses in Hindi by Prem Rawat, widely known by the honorary title of Maharaji. The book was edited by Dr. Rajendra Awasthi, a prominent Hindi novelist and former editor of Kadambini, the most widely distributed Hindi magazine in India. The book is jointly published by Raj Vidya Kender and Diamond Books, a leading Indian publisher.

Dr. Awasthi said, "In the book, Maharaji has visualized the truth in a very simple, intelligible, and successful manner and has expressed his feelings based on his experience in a way which makes us to feel as if the truth is standing before us. This is the truth of experience, which echoes in this book."

The book release was concluded with a vote of thanks by the managing director of Diamond Books, N.K. Verma. The Diamond Group of Publications has been a major distributor of Indian publications in Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, English, Bengali, and other regional Indian languages since 1950.

Raj Vidya Kender furthers Prem Rawat's message of hope and peace. It also seeks to better the quality of life of people in need and regularly holds medical clinics where free medical treatment is provided.
