The Prem Rawat Foundation Receives Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance Accreditation

New York, February 13, 2007 — The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) has been accredited after a conclusive evaluation by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The evaluation has verified that TPRF meets BBB's 20 specific standards of Charity Accountability regarding how the organization is governed, how its money is spent, the truthfulness of its representations, and its willingness to disclose basic information to the public. It will boost people's confidence in giving generously to our humanitarian initiatives. BBB Wise Giving Alliance is a merger of the National Charities Information Bureau and the Council of Better Business Bureaus’ Foundation and its Philanthropic Advisory Service. The standards formulated by BBB apply to publicly soliciting organizations that are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and to other organizations conducting charitable solicitations.
