On November 23, TPRF founder Prem Rawat made his first visit to the Foundation’s new Food For People (FFP) facility in the remote village of Otinibi, near Accra, Ghana.
There he was greeted with a warm welcome and jubilant ceremony by local school children, teachers, and attending dignitaries.Read more
TPRF contributors earmarked approximately $3,000 to provide aid for people displaced by Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast of the US. Earthquake and Tsunami Survivors Find Healing in Outdoor Gardening
After a massive earthquake and tsunami devastated northern Japan last year, TPRF donors responded generously to assist onsite emergency relief organizations. Now, more than a year later, TPRF is partnering with AmeriCares to help in the long process of recovery for residents of Rikuzentakata, a small town on the ravaged Tohoku coastline, where 2,000 lives were lost—one tenth of the town's population—and nearly 3,500 homes destroyed.Read more
